Living Well with Chronic Illness Classes

The "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions" course now includes a CHRONIC PAIN SELF-MANAGEMENT component and workbook.

We are pleased to pass along information from the BC Ministry of Health Services/University of Victoria about the free educational workshops on the North Shore.

Learn about tools to manage chronic pain conditions in a FREE six-week session health educational workshop. Free reference workbook will be provided; feel free to bring a family member, friend or caregiver. Space is limited, so sign up early.

Our next Chronic Pain Support Group is Thursday September 24th 2009.
We will meet at Mollie Nye House on Lynn Valley Road, from 1pm to 3pm.

Our Speaker this month is Shirley, a Certified Reflexologist and Registered Reiki Practitioner. Shirley will be discussing successful approaches to relieve chronic pain and increase relaxation through these professional techniques.

All are welcome, tea and coffee by donation.
