Our meeting time and date had to change some months back due to location scheduling.
We are still meeting at Mollie Nye House on Lynn Valley Road once a month.
Our meeting time is 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
And the day is now the 4Th Thursday of the month.
Come join us for coffee/tea and cookies, peer support, sharing of ideas, new solutions, brainstorming, and to hear our quest speakers.
We are a positive group of individuals who are focused on sharing "what works" for us.
We will soon be posting information on the "Pain One Day Conference" to coincide with the National Chronic Pain Awareness Week in November. We hope you to are looking forward to this exciting event with us. Be prepared to come with your questions and ideas for our us and our quest speakers.
We are a small group of people who meet once a month to discuss issues that affect us and new ways to deal with the things that just pop up. We are a positive group, with eyes on the future and ways to "Live a Life worth Living". We have a very small library to share. Our origins began with the 'Chronic Pain Association of Canada'. We have a pain focused forum annually.

November, 2008 Support Group Meeting
About the November 25, 2008 Support Group Meeting
We had a very good meeting this month. We talked about the issues of chronic pain that we all have to learn to live with. Some of the most difficult issues that we all have to face are the following
1. ANGER
2. DEPRESSION
3. SELF ESTEEM
4. ALTERED ROLES
5. SUICIDE
6.DEPENDENCY
7. ISOLATION
8. FINANCES
All of these issues are very important to talk about together and to discuss the ways we can work out good ideas to deal with the problems.
