Google Friend Connect

Hi all, I am not at all knowledgeable about the management of this Blogging but it has come to my attention that YOU could follow this North Shore Chronic Pain Support Group and it's comments on Google Friend Connect. You can find the link to the right side of this page. You will then be notified when someone makes a comment and then you can add comments and follow others. This type of technology is for the young but we can all learn something new very day! (I hope it is not the same thing every day or you may have a problem but then you wouldn't know would you?) Ha-ha. It's good to keep your sense of humour, it is medicine too, did you know? Laughter increases your endorphins and that is a great hormone to have, don't understand then type "endorphins" in the address box at the top of the screen and go from there. Anyway give it a try, be open to new things, it keeps you connected and therefore brings you alive.

August26th 2010

Welcome followers of the Chronic Pain Support Group, (C.P.S.G.) we meet next at Mollie Nye House. The address is 940 Lynn Valley Road, easy Highway access coming east or west.
We begin our meetings promptly at 1pm and finish at 3pm. As we have a speaker, could you please come 5 minutes earlier, so you can be settled and ready to participate, to first listen and then ask questions. Please bring paper and pen for question time.
For those of you who are used to the wonderful "Ladies of Mollie Nye" providing tea, coffee and cookies, please bring your own and some to share, if you are "able" for those who are not. Thanks.

Quote for the month; "Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it isn't there!"

Now I'm sure excited to know who our speaker is this month, well I will not keep you waiting!
This month we are so pleased to introduce to you the fabulous, Ms Susan MacLean, President of our Vancouver ME/FM Society. This group began as two separate groups and has grown to a fabulous collaboration of minds, energy and spirit. (I hope I have that right)

No July Meeting

Welcome readers and followers of the North Vancouver Chronic Pain Support Group Blog.

We will not be having a meeting in July 2010 due to summer vacations.

So let me tell you who will be our speaker for August.
We have Susan MacLean the president of the ME/FM Society. She will be sharing information about her journey I'm sure and the coalition of the ME and FM groups into one larger more powerful group. They recently held a forum which many of our group attended. I'm sure that there will be time for your questions.
They have a successful news letter which is another opportunity to gain information, or you can write an article yourself.
Dr Bruce Carruthers is the Medical Adviser.

We are wishing you a Happy Holiday, and look forward to seeing you in August.
